For archive invalidation, I have Mod Organizer set to manage archive files and have the ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa in my data folder, from here, loaded at the top of everything (in the archives section of MO), which may not be the most ideal solution, but without it, I can't seem to get loose file replacers working correctly (MO's setting for this doesn't seem to work, at least for me).

I tried MO2 but just kept getting an error with trying to create a bashed patch in Wrye Bash, and couldn't find a way to resolve it.ДЄnyways what I did was, make sure all my OBSE plugins are all in the data folder (even if installed with mods through MO) for one thing, otherwise they won't work. Took a bit of effort though, but worth it I guess. I can't say which one is the best, since this is a very subjective thing, and what's the best will be different for each person based on their modding needs/wants, but I have been able to get the legacy version of Mod Organizer working just fine for my most recent playthrough of Oblivion (with the Steam version of the game too).
